The firmware launch kit is the ideal place to start familiarizing yourself with the capabilities of the PLT. It allows you to develop and refine test plans for your hardware even before your board is ready for mass production. Simply connect the 3 cables to the PLT Breakout Board and use jumper wires to connect to your hardware. This gives you confidence in your design of the pogo pin cassette when you are ready to lock down your hardware design for production. 

This kit contains the following:

• PLT-300A
• PLT Breakout Board
• PLT Cable Pack (8-Wire Power Cable, HD78 Cable, USB-C Cable)

This kit is useful if you already have hardware on hand and you want an easier way to access the test points on your board and connect other devices (such as our PLT) to them. It is essentially an in-circuit test (ICT) fixture without any computing power inside it. When you order this kit, you will send us the design file of your board so we can build a custom pogo pin cassette to hold your board in place for testing.  Using the breakout board, you can connect your new ICT fixture to your own machines or computers.

The New Product Introduction Kit includes all of the hardware needed to program and test your board: PLT, ICT chassis, pogo pin cassette, and the cable plack that connects them together. After purchasing this kit, we will use our secure ticketing system to request your board files so that we can build the custom pogo pin cassette for your board.
